I think I know what the problem is (was my fault), but need help with prep of forms, schedule D, etc.
Also does anyone use any of these tax return prep software packages? Where I install the software on my computer which then can communicate with various mutual funds and brokers to accumulate info to automatically enter onto my return forms? Have heard some good things and some bad things about them.
Any advice appreciated.
